Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cans tomato sauce - 3 item
- can tomato paste - 1 item
- sugar or to taste - 1 Tbsp
- cans tomatoes, cut up - 3 item
- to 6 medium potatoes, cubed - 5 item
- bag corn frozen - 1 item
- large or 2 small bags mixed vegetables frozen - 1 item
- medium onions, sliced and quartered - 2 item
- deer stew meat, cubed and cut very lean - 2 3
How to make vegetable soup:
Remove all gristle from meat and season with meat tenderizer and brown in skillet; drain. In a big soup pot, mix tomatoes, tomato sauce, paste, corn, mixed vegetables, onions, salt, pepper and sugar. Add meat, cook on medium-low heat for 2 to 3 hours. Add potatoes and cook until potatoes are done. This makes a lot of soup.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Weeknight, Soups & stews.
