Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • water - 1/2 gal
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • stalks celery, chopped - 3 item
  • thyme - 1/4 tsp
  • medium onions, chopped - 3 item
  • head cabbage, chopped - 1/2 item
  • large can whole tomatoes - 1 item
  • potatoes, chopped - 4 item
  • dry parsley or 1/4 c - 1 Tbsp
  • soup bone beef - 1 item

How to make vegetable soup:

Put soup bone in pot of water. Add salt, pepper, thyme, parsley and tomatoes. Cook and simmer for approximately 2 hours. Add other vegetables and cook for another hour, then add 1 large bag of frozen mixed vegetables. Cook for about 30 minutes. Serve with loaf of fresh baked bread and enjoy.
