Vegetable soup
Ingredients/Components
- fresh dill, chopped - 1/2 c
- fresh parsley, chopped - 1/2 c
- finely chopped celery - 2 c
- green peppers, chopped fine - 2 item
- onions, chopped - 2 item
- tomatoes, chopped - 2 item
- carrots, diced - 4 item
- green beans, cut - 1/2 lb
- water - 2 qt
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- white pepper - 1/2 tsp
How to make vegetable soup:
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepot. Bring to a boil, then lower heat to simmer. Simmer for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender. Correct seasonings. Serve hot. Makes 8 servings.Note: This soup can be used with matzoh balls and can simmer for up to 2 hours.
