Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- carrots, diced - 1 lb
- head cabbage, shredded - 1/2 item
- red pepper optional - 1/2 tsp
- large can V-8 juice - 1 item
- to 8 potatoes, diced - 6 item
- stew meat, cover with water - 2 lb
- large or 2 small cans diced tomatoes - 1 item
- small stalk celery, sliced - 1 item
How to make vegetable soup:
Boil meat with plenty of water until tender. Use large pot, Dutch oven size. Add all other ingredients and cook until tender, approximately 1 hour. Stir often. Taste and see.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Weeknight, Soups & stews.
