Vegetable salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 1/3 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- pimento, chopped - 2 oz
- can Shoepeg corn - 1 item
- can French green beans - 1 item
- can green peas LeSueur - 1 item
How to make vegetable salad:
Drain vegetables. Mix with pimento, onion, pepper and celery. Mix other ingredients together. Heat until boiling. Can be microwaved. Pour over vegetables. Stir well. Let set overnight. Keeps 2 weeks in refrigerator. (I usually double this recipe.)Recipe categories: Salads, Vegan, Vegetables.
