Vegetable pie
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- dash of garlic powder - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 c
- onion, sliced - 1 item
- fresh mushrooms, sliced - 1 lb
- green pepper, sliced - 1 item
- tomato, sliced - 1 item
- mayo - 1 c
- zucchini or yellow squash, sliced - 2 item
- 10-inch pie shell - 1 item
How to make vegetable pie:
Bake pie crust at 325° for 20 minutes. Saut vegetables in butter until crisp but not soft. Drain well. Add seasonings. Place tomato, sliced, in bottom of pie crust. Add vegetables. Spread mayo-cheese mixture over vegetables. Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Weeknight, Vegetarian, Oven.
