  • cooked, mashed vegetables leftover or canned - 2 c
  • milk - 1/4 c
  • beaten egg - 1 item
  • crushed saltines or bread crumbs put 1 c - 3 c
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item

How to make vegetable patties:

Mix together and shape into flat patties or cone shape. Drop into deep fat (hot) until brown and top with cream of celery soup or cream sauce.
