Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water
  • vegetable oil - 1/2 c
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • chopped celery - 1 c
  • green pepper, diced - 1 c
  • white vinegar - 3/4 c
  • coarse ground pepper - 3/4 tsp
  • medium jar pimento - 1 item
  • can white corn Shoe Peg - 1 oz
  • can drained French-style green beans - 1 item
  • can drained tiny baby peas - 1 item

How to make vegetable marinade:

Marinade:1 Tbsp. water1/2 c. vegetable oil3/4 c. white vinegar1 c. sugar1 tsp. salt3/4 tsp. coarse ground pepper Bring marinade ingredients to a boil, stirring, and cool.

Mix vegetables together; pour cooled marinade over vegetables and refrigerate about 4 hours before serving.
