Vegetable beef soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 4 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped carrots - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- chopped parsley - 1/4 c
- lean ground beef
- small bay leaf - 1 item
- dehydrated onion flakes - 2 Tbsp
- chopped cauliflower
- packets instant beef broth and seasoning mix - 4 item
- canned tomatoes, mashed - 2 c
How to make vegetable beef soup:
In a bowl, combine meat, nutmeg, pepper and salt. Shape meat into large patties and place on a rack. Broil 4 minutes on each side. Break patties into small pieces and place in a large saucepan. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer over low heat about 1 hour. Divide evenly. Yield: 4 servings.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Beef.
