  • bay leaves - 3 item
  • cup chopped celery - 1 item
  • cups water - 5 item
  • cup chopped onions - 1/2 item
  • 1/2 pounds lean beef stew meat - 1 item
  • ounce can tomato sauce - 15 item
  • ounce can stewed tomatoes - 15 item
  • packages onion soup mix - 2 item
  • 1/2 cups diced carrots - 1 item
  • tablespoon basil leaves - 1 item
  • 1/2 cups diced potatoes - 1 item
  • can diced beets not drained - 1 item
  • cup diced rutabagas - 1/2 item
  • tablespoon granulated garlic - 1 item
  • teaspoons black pepper - 2 item

How to make vegetable beef soup:

In large dutch water, seasonings and beef. Cook until beef is done but still firm. Add remainder of ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce to low heat and simmer for 1 hour. Serve hot.
