Vegetable beef soup
Ingredients/Components
- bay leaves - 3 item
- cup chopped celery - 1 item
- cups water - 5 item
- cup chopped onions - 1/2 item
- 1/2 pounds lean beef stew meat - 1 item
- ounce can tomato sauce - 15 item
- ounce can stewed tomatoes - 15 item
- packages onion soup mix - 2 item
- 1/2 cups diced carrots - 1 item
- tablespoon basil leaves - 1 item
- 1/2 cups diced potatoes - 1 item
- can diced beets not drained - 1 item
- cup diced rutabagas - 1/2 item
- tablespoon granulated garlic - 1 item
- teaspoons black pepper - 2 item
How to make vegetable beef soup:
In large dutch water, seasonings and beef. Cook until beef is done but still firm. Add remainder of ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce to low heat and simmer for 1 hour. Serve hot.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Beef.
