Veal parmigiana
Ingredients/Components
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- grated Parmesan cheese - 6 Tbsp
- bread crumbs - 3/4 c
- oregano - 3 Tbsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- tomato sauce - 1 c
- slices Mozzarella cheese - 6 item
- veal cutlets, pounded very thin - 6 item
How to make veal parmigiana:
Season beaten egg with salt, pepper and oregano; combine crumbs with half the grated Parmesan cheese. Dip cutlets first in egg, then crumbs; saute in oil until golden brown. Place in shallow pan. Cover with tomato sauce and top with Mozzarella slices. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until cheese melts and browns slightly.
