Veal marsala
Ingredients/Components
- large slices scaloppine or veal - 12 item
- flour - 1 item
- salad oil - 1 item
- butter - 2 3
- sliced fresh mushrooms - 1/2 lb
- chopped chives - 2 Tbsp
- chopped parsley fresh - 2 Tbsp
- beef broth bouillon
- Marsala wine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 item
- pepper - 1 item
- paprika - 1 item
How to make veal marsala:
Dust veal slices lightly in flour. Heat 3 to 4 tablespoons of salad oil in skillet. Saute quickly 3 to 4 slices of veal at a time, over high heat, until browned. Transfer slices to a serving dish or casserole and sprinkle each slice with paprika. Add more oil, if necessary and repeat process for remaining veal.Melt butter in skillet. Add mushrooms and saute about 5 minutes. Pour over veal slices in the casserole. Place casserole in a 350° oven for 1/2 hour. Serve with hot buttered noodles or plain.
