  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • finely chopped pecans - 1 c
  • sticks butter or margarine - 2 item
  • box vanilla wafers, crushed fine 4 c - 1 oz

How to make vanilla wafer cake:

Cream butter until fluffy; add sugar gradually, creaming mixture until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg. Blend in remaining ingredients. Pour or spoon into a well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 325° for about 1 hour and 25 minutes or until cake tests done.
