Upside down ham loaf
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- pineapple slices - 4 item
- lean ground pork
- crackers or bread crumbs - 1 c
- ground smoked ham, cooked or uncooked - 2 c
How to make upside down ham loaf:
Mix brown sugar, dry mustard and vinegar. Pour into bottom of large greased loaf pan or 2-quart Pyrex dish. Place pineapple rings on top. Mix first 7 ingredients well and pack meat mixture on top of pineapple rings. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 375°. Invert on platter.Recipe categories: Main dish, Pork, Ham.
