Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- yellow cake mix - 1 item
How to make twinkie cake:
Icing:1 c. milk3 Tbsp. cornstarch1/2 c. Crisco1 stick butter1 c. sugar2 tsp. vanilla Mix yellow cake mix according to package directions. Bake in 2 layers. When cool, split cake in half.Icing: Cook milk and cornstarch until thick. Cool. Beat with mixer for 12 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients; add to milk-cornstarch mixture and beat 12 more minutes.
Put icing in between each layer and on top. Doubling the icing makes cake better.
