How to make turtle cake:
Mix cake mix according to directions. Divide in 1/2. In first half, add 1 stick butter and 1/2 can Eagle Brand milk. Pour in greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan and bake 25 minutes at 350°.While baking , melt caramels, rest of Eagle Brand milk and 1 stick butter. When cake is done, spread caramel mixture over top. Add remaining batter. Sprinkle over this 1 cup pecan pieces and bake 20 to 25 minutes, no more than 25 minutes at 350°. Cool completely. Serve.
