Ingredients/Components
- evaporated milk - 1/3 c
- melted margarine - 3/4 c
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- caramels - 1 pkg
- German chocolate cake mix - 1 pkg
- pecan nuts - 1 c
How to make turtle bars:
Mix cake, butter and 1/3 cup evaporated milk; pat 2/3 batter into cake pan. Bake at 350° for 6 minutes. Melt caramels and mix 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Pour over first layer. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts and pat rest of batter over the top. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
