Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • mayonnaise - 1/4 c
  • thinly sliced green onions - 1/4 c
  • chopped sweet red pepper - 1/4 c
  • shredded, peeled turnips - 4 c

How to make turnip slaw:

In a bowl, combine all ingredients, except turnips. Pour over turnips and toss well to coat. Refrigerate several hours for flavors to blend. Makes 4 servings.
