Turkey waldorf salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- mayonnaise or salad dressing - 2/3 c
- finely chopped onion - 1/4 c
- lettuce - 1 item
- sliced celery - 1 c
- coarsely diced, cooked turkey - 2 c
- halved and seeded red grapes - 1 c
- broken walnuts - 1/4 c
- hard-cooked egg - 1 item
How to make turkey waldorf salad:
Chill ingredients. Sprinkle diced apple with lemon juice. Add turkey, grapes, celery, walnuts, onion, salad dressing, salt and pepper and toss lightly. Serve in lettuce-lined bowl. Cut white of egg into wedges and arrange in shape of a flower. Top with grated yolk. Makes 5 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Salads, Turkey.
