Turkey tetrazzini
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- can sliced mushrooms - 1 item
- diced, cooked turkey or chicken - 3 c
- chopped pimentos - 2 Tbsp
- grated sharp cheese - 1/2 c
- turkey broth - 2 c
- spaghetti, cooked - 1 pkg
How to make turkey tetrazzini:
Saute onion in margarine until transparent. Add mushrooms and cook slightly; stir in flour. Add broth and milk and bring to a gradual boil, stirring constantly. Add seasonings and pimento; blend together. Combine with turkey. Alternate layers of spaghetti and turkey, ending with layer of spaghetti. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Freezes well.
