Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 4 tsp
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • lemon juice - 1/4 c
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • diced green pepper - 2 c
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 lb
  • diced celery - 3 c
  • sliced mushrooms - 2 c
  • diced cooked turkey - 3 4
  • milk, scalded - 4 c
  • 1/2 sticks butter or margarine - 1 item

How to make turkey tetrazzini:

Saute celery, green pepper, onion and mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes. Stir in flour, then milk gradually, cooking and stirring until thickened. Add remaining ingredients. Stir until cheese is melted. Makes 10 to 12 cups. Serve over spaghetti.
