Turkey tetrazzini
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 4 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- diced green pepper - 2 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 lb
- diced celery - 3 c
- sliced mushrooms - 2 c
- diced cooked turkey - 3 4
- milk, scalded - 4 c
- 1/2 sticks butter or margarine - 1 item
How to make turkey tetrazzini:
Saute celery, green pepper, onion and mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes. Stir in flour, then milk gradually, cooking and stirring until thickened. Add remaining ingredients. Stir until cheese is melted. Makes 10 to 12 cups. Serve over spaghetti.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Turkey.
