Ingredients/Components
- turkey legs or 1 leg and 1 wing - 2 item
- dash of garlic salt - 1 item
- shakes seasoned pepper - 2 item
- shakes Schillings ground thyme - 3 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- frozen spinach - 1 pkg
- rice - 1 c
- water - 1 item
- cans cream of mushroom soup - 2 item
- grated cheese - 1 item
How to make turkey rice casserole:
Roast turkey. Cool, bone and cut into small bite size pieces. To turkey broth add garlic salt, seasoned pepper, thyme, onion, spinach, turkey meat and rice. Add enough water to a little more than cover rice. Cook until rice is just done (10 to 20 minutes). Add soup, mix well. Put grated cheese on top.Recipe categories: Main dish, Poultry, Casseroles.
