Turkey paprikash
Ingredients/Components
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- paprika - 2 tsp
- plain low-fat yogurt - 2/3 c
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- tomato paste - 1 Tbsp
- instant chicken bouillon - 1 tsp
- hot cooked noodles - 3 c
- medium onion, sliced and separated into rings - 1 item
- or more fully cooked turkey breast, sliced 1/4-inch thick - 12 oz
How to make turkey paprikash:
Spray a large cold skillet with nonstick coating. Heat over medium heat for 1 minute. Add turkey slices to skillet. Cover and cook about 3 minutes, or until heated through. Remove from skillet and keep warm.Sauce: Add onion to skillet. Cook and stir until rings are tender but not brown. Carefully stir in paprika, bouillon, 3/4 cup water and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Combine yogurt, flour and tomato paste; stir into skillet. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 minute more.
Toss parsley with hot noodles. Arrange noodles on large serving dish. Top with turkey. Spoon sauce over turkey and noodles.
