Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- plain nonfat yogurt - 1/4 c
- ground cumin - 1/2 tsp
- chopped scallions - 1/4 c
- lean ground turkey - 10 oz
- medium tomato, sliced - 1 item
- chopped mint - 2 tsp
- chopped, seeded tomatoes - 3/4 c
- cooked bulgur - 1/2 c
- whole wheat pitas, split and grilled - 4 (1
How to make turkey burgers:
Spray grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Place grill rack 5 inches from coals. Cover with foil, if you want. In large bowl, combine turkey with other ingredients, except pitas and tomato. Lightly moisten hands; shape mixture into 4 equal patties. Grill 10 to 12 minutes, turning once until cooked through.
