Turkey and stuffing bake
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 3/4 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- boiling water
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- cubed, cooked turkey
- seasoned stuffing crumbs
- can French fried onions divided use - 1 item
How to make turkey and stuffing bake:
Combine margarine and water. Stir until margarine melts. Pour over stuffing crumbs. Toss lightly. Stir in 1/2 can fried onions. Spoon into shallow 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Press stuffing mixture over bottom and up sides to form shell. Combine soup, milk, turkey and peas. Pour into stuffing shell. Bake, covered, at 350° for 30 minutes. Top with remaining onions and bake, uncovered, 5 minutes longer. Makes 4 to 6 servings.Note: May substitute 3 cups leftover stuffing for margarine, water and stuffing crumbs. If stuffing is dry, stir in water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until moist but not wet.
