Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2/3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/3 c
- egg, unbeaten - 1 item
- sifted flour - 2 c
- minced celery - 1/2 c
- Tuna Filling:1 can tuna, flaked
How to make tuna roll-ups:
Tuna Filling:1 can tuna, flaked1/2 c. minced celery1 egg, unbeaten Preheat oven to 450°. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Pour oil and milk into measuring cup but do not stir together, then pour all at once into the flour. Stir with a fork until mixture cleans sides of bowls and rounds up into a ball. Smooth by kneading dough about 10 times without additional flour. Place dough between sheets of waxed paper. Roll out to 12-inches square. Cut into 9 squares. Mix together ingredients for tuna filling. Spread about 2 tablespoons filling over each square. Roll up each square as for jelly roll. Place sealed side down on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes. Serve with mushroom soup gravy (just add 3/4 can milk to can of soup and heat).Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Tuna, Saltwater fish.
