Tuna garden salad
Ingredients/Components
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- thinly sliced celery - 1/2 c
- hard-cooked eggs, chopped - 3 item
- minced onion - 1 Tbsp
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- saltine crackers - 1 item
- medium cucumber, sliced - 1 item
- medium green pepper, cut in strips - 1 item
- jar sliced pimentos, drained - 1 oz
- dash of ground black pepper - 1 item
- large lettuce leaves - 6 item
- cans tuna packed in water - 2 oz
How to make tuna garden salad:
Drain and flake tuna; blend with next 6 ingredients. Chill until serving time.Just before serving, stir in onion. Arrange lettuce on serving platter. Mound tuna mixture in center. Garnish with green pepper and cucumber. Serve with saltine crackers. Makes 6 (6 ounce) servings.
