Tuna chowder
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- milk - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1 Tbsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- cans tuna - 2 oz
- can mushrooms, optional - 1 item
- or 8 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed - 6 item
How to make tuna chowder:
In large pot boil cubed potatoes until just tender, drain off half of the water. Add all ingredients, simmer until cheese is melted. If too thick add small amount of milk to desired consistency. Serve with cornbread.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Tuna, Chowders.
