Tuna cakes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Dijon mustard - 1/4 c
- jar chopped pimiento, drained - 1 item
- chopped celery - 1/4 c
- can tuna - 1 item
- green onions - 1/4 c
- Miracle Whip - 1/2 c
- green pepper - 1/4 c
- dry bread crumbs, divided
How to make tuna cakes:
Mix tuna, dressing, mustard, vegetables, pimiento and seasonings. Add 1/2 cup bread crumbs. Shape mixture into 15 (2-inch) balls. Roll in remaining bread crumbs. Coat well. Pat balls in small patties. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Heat oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add tuna patties. Cook 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Add oil as needed.
