Tuna and white bean salad
Ingredients/Components
- red wine vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- green onions, sliced - 2 item
- yogurt - 2 Tbsp
- mayonnaise - 2 Tbsp
- dried basil - 1/2 tsp
- dried sage - 1/2 tsp
- can white tuna in water, drained - 1 1/2
- can white beans or Northern beans, rinsed and drained - 1 oz
- tomato, cored, seeded and diced - 1 item
- salt, black pepper and crushed red pepper flakes to taste - 1 item
How to make tuna and white bean salad:
Combine all ingredients and mix gently. Keep chilled until serving time. Mixture can be served in lettuce cups, hollowed out tomatoes or on toast or an open face sandwich. Makes 3 or 4 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Tuna.
