Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- sifted flour - 1/2 c
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- trout fillets - 6 item
How to make trout amandine:
Dip fillets in milk, season with salt and pepper then roll in flour so entire fillet is well coated. Melt butter in skillet and cook fillets, browning evenly on both sides. Remove fish from skillet. In same skillet, add slivered almonds and saute. Sprinkle thickly over fish.Recipe categories: Main dish, Freshwater fish, Trout.
