  • flour - 1/2 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • cooking oil - 1/3 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • parsley - 1 tsp
  • slivered almonds - 1/2 c
  • lemon, thinly sliced - 1 item
  • trout filets - 4 (6

How to make trout amandine:

Season cleaned trout with salt and pepper. Coat lightly with flour and saute in hot oil until trout is golden on both sides. Drain oil from pan. Add butter and brown almonds slightly. Pour over trout. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices.
