Ingredients/Components
- 9-inch unbaked pastry shell - 1 item
- can pumpkin, about 2 c
- can sweetened condensed milk
- eggs - 2 item
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
How to make traditional pumpkin pie:
Preheat oven to 425°. In large mixer bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into pastry shell and bake 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake 35-40 minutes longer, or until center tests done; cool. Garnish with whipped cream and refrigerate any leftovers.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
