Ingredients/Components

  • 9-inch unbaked pastry shell - 1 item
  • can pumpkin, about 2 c
  • can sweetened condensed milk
  • eggs - 2 item
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • ginger - 1/2 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp

How to make traditional pumpkin pie:

Preheat oven to 425°. In large mixer bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into pastry shell and bake 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake 35-40 minutes longer, or until center tests done; cool. Garnish with whipped cream and refrigerate any leftovers.
