Ingredients/Components
- dairy sour cream - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can condensed cream of chicken soup - 1 3/4
- taco seasoning - 1 pkg
- jar salsa - 1 oz
- corn tortillas, cut into 1-inch strips - 6 item
- jar sliced pimentos, drained optional - 1 oz
- shredded Cheddar cheese or mix Cheddar and Monterey Jack - 2 c
How to make tortilla casserole:
Cook and stir ground beef and onion until beef is brown. Drain. Add taco seasoning as per package. Spread 1/2 cup of salsa in bottom of ungreased square baking dish (8 x 8 x 2-inch).
