Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar - 3 c
- unsweetened baking chocolate - 2 sq
- light Karo corn syrup - 1/2 c
- powdered milk, sifted until not grainy - 3/4 c
How to make tootsie rolls:
Melt butter and chocolate. Add syrup, vanilla, powdered milk and sugar. Knead until well mixed. Roll into roll, then cut when needed.For a sour burst of flavor, substitute 1 package Kool-Aid for the chocolate.
