Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- milk - 2 qt
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- oregano - 1 tsp
- basil - 1 tsp
- onion - 1/2 c
- thyme - 1 tsp
- celery optional - 1 item
- tomato or V-8 juice - 2 qt
- fresh tomatoes optional - 1 item
How to make tomato soup:
Saute onion in margarine in pot. Blend together with onion the next 8 ingredients. Add tomato juice, celery and fresh tomatoes; boil 1 minute. Add milk and heat on low for 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Fruit, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
