Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/4 c
- flour - 1/2 c
- cloves - 6 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- stalk celery - 1 item
- tomatoes - 2 gal
- onions - 1 doz
- bay leaf or some parsley - 1 item
How to make tomato soup:
Simmer for 1 hour the first 5 ingredients and strain. To juice, add remaining ingredients. Mix and bring to a boil; cold pack 20 minutes. Makes 6 quarts.Recipe categories: Fruit, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
