  • milk
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • oil - 3 Tbsp
  • peanut butter - 3/4 c
  • paprika - 1/4 tsp
  • grated onion - 2 tsp
  • celery salt - 1/2 tsp
  • dash white pepper - 1 item
  • sieved tomatoes - 3 c

How to make tomato soup:

In saucepan, sift the flour gradually into the oil, mixing with each addition until smooth. Add the milk and cook over low heat until slightly thickened, stirring constantly. Add the grated onion, paprika, celery salt and pepper, mixing well.

Place the peanut butter in a large bowl and add the hot mixture stirring until smooth. Heat the sieved tomatoes in the same saucepan and add gradually to the peanut butter mixture, mixing well. Serve hot or cold.
