Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 qt
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/4 1/2
- salt to taste - 1 item
- can cut up tomatoes with liquid - 1 1/2
How to make tomato soup:
In a large saucepan, bring tomatoes to a boil. Add baking soda, garlic salt, pepper and salt, if desired. Reduce heat; add the milk and butter. Heat through, but do not boil. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Fruit, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
