Tomato sauce
Ingredients/Components
- olive oil - 3 Tbsp
- finely minced garlic - 1 Tbsp
- finely chopped fresh basil - 2 Tbsp
- freshly ground pepper to taste - 1 item
- crushed tomatoes - 2 c
- dried rosemary - 1/2 tsp
- crumbled oregano - 1 tsp
- salt to taste if desired - 1 item
How to make tomato sauce:
Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the garlic. Cook briefly, stirring. Add the tomatoes, oregano, rosemary, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes.
