Ingredients/Components
- rice - 1 c
- tomatoes, peeled and diced - 4 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 c
How to make tomato rice:
Cook rice in boiling salted water for 14 minutes. Drain. While rice is cooking, stew tomatoes gently for about 10 minutes. Add a little water if necessary. Press through a sieve. Return to low heat and add seasoning. Mix well. Stir into the hot rice and sprinkle with cheese.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Time to make, Pasta, rice and grains.
