- sugar - 1 item
- milk - 1 item
- Bisquick
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- to 7 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped - 6 item
How to make tomato pie:
Spray casserole with Pam. Layer tomatoes, bell pepper, salt and pepper with generous sprinkles of sugar (maybe 1 tablespoon, heaping). Make as many layers as pan will hold. Cut cheese into Bisquick. Add enough milk to make a soupy batter. Pour over top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes; reduce to 300° for 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Side dish, Vegetables.
