- sugar - 1 item
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- large can tomatoes - 1 item
- dumplings - 1 item
How to make tomato dumplings:
If whole tomatoes, break up in saucepan or whatever pot you choose. Add butter and sugar to tomatoes (I usually add sugar until I have sweetened to taste). Bring to a boil and add dumplings. Turn down heat, cover and simmer until dumplings are cooked.You can either make dumplings as you would for chicken and dumplings or use biscuits and break into small pieces.
