Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 4 c
- ground cloves - 1 tsp
- ground allspice - 1 tsp
- large onions, chopped - 6 item
- black pepper as desired - 1 item
- tomatoes, peeled, cored and cut up - 1 gal
- to 8 hot peppers, chopped - 6 item
How to make tomato chili:
Mix and cook slowly until thick. Can in jars. Use the water-bath method of processing.WATER-BATH METHOD: Use a container large enough to place sealed jars; cover them with water and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 10 minutes to kill bacteria.
