Ingredients/Components
- can condensed tomato soup - 1 1/4
- half and half can use milk or whipping cream
- thinly sliced fresh basil leaves - 1/2 c
How to make tomato basil soup:
Cook first three ingredients over medium heat 5 to 8 minutes until hot, stirring often. DO NOT BOIL or soup will curdle. Stir in basil. Garnish with grated cheese and parsley. Serves 4 to 6.Recipe categories: American, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
