Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- pkg - 6 oz
- flour - 1/2 c
- butter - 3/4 c
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- light brown sugar - 1/2 c
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell
- whipped cream or ice cream - 1 item
How to make toll house pie:
Preheat oven to 325°. In large mixer bowl, beat eggs at high speed until foamy, about 3 minutes. Beat in flour, sugar and brown sugar until well blended. Beat in softened butter. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips. Pour into pie shell. Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean and top is golden brown. Cool on wire rack.
