Tofu and vegetable stir-fry
Ingredients/Components
- block tofu - 1/2 item
- napa or spinach - 1 lb
- water - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 4 Tbsp
- pork - 1/4 lb
- ginger - 2 tsp
- clove garlic - 1 item
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- medium onion, chunked - 1 item
- medium tomatoes, chunked - 2 item
How to make tofu and vegetable stir-fry:
Cut pork into thin slices. Combine remaining 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1 tablespoon soy sauce, ginger, garlic and sugar in small bowl; stir in pork. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in hot pan. Add pork and stir-fry 3 minutes; remove. Heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil in same pan. Add onion; stir-fry 2 minutes. Add napa; stir-fry. Add tomatoes, pork and soy sauce mixture. Cook and stir gently until sauce boils and thickens. Gently fold in tofu; heat through.Recipe categories: Low fat, Beans, Soy/tofu.
