Toffee squares



  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • all-purpose flour
  • egg yolk - 1 item
  • butter, softened to room temperature - 1 c
  • 65 oz - 6 milk
  • chopped, toasted almonds or pecans - 1 c

How to make toffee squares:

In mixing bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until light-colored and fluffy. Add egg yolk and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour until smooth and blended. (Dough will be thick.) Spread evenly on 14 x 16-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 15
