Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- all-purpose flour
- egg yolk - 1 item
- butter, softened to room temperature - 1 c
- 65 oz - 6 milk
- chopped, toasted almonds or pecans - 1 c
How to make toffee squares:
In mixing bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until light-colored and fluffy. Add egg yolk and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour until smooth and blended. (Dough will be thick.) Spread evenly on 14 x 16-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 15Recipe categories: Desserts, < 60 mins, For large groups.
