Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- tender beef steak
How to make toad in the hole:
Cut steak in 1-inch cubes; season with salt and pepper. Place in a shallow baking dish, which has been well-greased. Spread beef cubes apart so that batter will form between them. Make a batter of remaining ingredients and pour over cubes, allowing some to leave their "heads" out.
