  • can stewed tomatoes - 1 lb
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • medium chopped onion - 1 item
  • chopped green chilies - 4 oz
  • small can tomato sauce - 1 item
  • taco seasoning - 1 pkg
  • Longhorn cheese, grated - 1 lb
  • to 8 tortillas - 6 item

How to make tijuana torte:

Brown ground beef and onion. Drain. Add tomatoes, sauce, chilies and taco mix. Combine and simmer for 10 minutes.

Layer meat in pie plate, tortilla, meat, grated cheese, etc. End with cheese. Bake 20 to 25 minutes in 350° oven. Makes 6 plus servings.
